A good enough start making a profit of $12. I only played for approximately 15 minutes on the $1/$2 tables. I called it a day there, a bit tired after being out on the sauce on Saturday night and wanted to ensure a winning start to the blog. $12 aint nothing spectacular but I'm sure there are thousands of poker players round the world who will wake up tomorrow who wish they had won $12 as opposed to losing ........
Hearts beat Celtic at Parkhead aswell so a good day all round.

The Beginning
I plan to kick off with a starting bank of $500 and raise the daily running bank by at least 2%. All this will start at the $1/$2 fixed limit cash tables on Betfair poker. I am a decent enough player in my opinion although have two major faults as far as playing poke is concerned, the tilt monster raising it's ugly head and playing at a level that is dangerous for my bankroll. Bearing this in mind I intend to plug away at a level where my bankroll can cover 200 big blinds. This, I see as a safe limit for my style of play at fixed limit poker.
Some days I'll lose and some days I'll make more than 2% on the running bankroll but hopefully I'll be able to sustain an average daily rise of at least the intended 2%.
