Spent a couple of hours on the tables after work and made very hard work of winning $53 as I went down around $200 at one stage playing 2 tables, just had to grind things out which I successfully did and called it a day as soon as I topped the $50 mark. Had no help from lady luck, I kept flopping draws but couldn't hit, lost a big pot early on after flopping an open ended straight and flush draw with 5 players in the hand and failed to hit. Just stuck with what I call ABC route 1 poker, kept my discipline and finished in profit without losing my rag which is a good sign so I'm happy there.
United beat Man Shitty 1-0 to all but wrap up the Premiership, Cockney Rebel landed the Stan James 2000 Guineas at odds of 25/1 and I managed to watch the Kentucky Derby online to see Street Sense justify favouritism and flyhome from 19th to 1st with a redneck on board. The yanks go overboard big time, winning jockey strutting around on his mount round the track being interviewed by a member of the press who was also on horseback for what seemed an eternity.
